Our Team

Dr. Dennis Robinson grew up in Jo Daviess County, and graduated from Elizabeth High School. He received his pre-optometry education at Augustana College and his Doctor of Optometry from Illinois College of Optometry in 1980. Dr. Robinson joined Drs. Schaye and Haines in 1980, and the practive name was later changed to Northwest Eyecare. He has been with the practice continuously since 1980, and sees patients in the Freeport and Stockton offices.








Dr. Jonathan Goulart was born and raised in Freeport, Illinois. He is a graduate of Freeport High School. Dr. Goulart attended Western Illinois University for his undergraduate training and then went on to Illinois College of Optometry. He graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Visual Science and Doctor of Optometry degrees in 1984. After graduation, he joined the practice of Dr. Richard Hessenius in Freeport. In 1995, Dr. Goulart merged his practice with Northwest Eyecare. He currently works at our Freeport and Oregon locations.







Dr. Nikolas Diemer was born and raised in Freeport, Illinois. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in biology from Augustana College in 1999. In 2004, he graduated from the Illinois College of Optometry and joined Northwest Eyecare. Dr. Diemer resides in Freeport and is active in the community. He currently sees patients in our Freeport, Lanark and Oregon offices.









Dr. Amanda Stott was born and raised in Freeport, Illinois. She graduated from Freeport High School in 1998, and she continued her undergraduate studies at Highland Community College and Illinois State University. She graduated from the Illinois College of Optometry in 2005, earning both her Bachelor of Science in Visual Science and her Doctor of Optometry degrees. She currently sees patients in the Freeport and Stockton offices.
